San Francisco State University has a proud tradition of sponsoring Constitution and Citizenship Day conferences, which provide opportunities to reflect critically on the past, present, and future of constitutional rights, freedoms, citizenship, democracy, equality, and justice. The theme of the 2023 conference was “Indigenous Lands and Human Rights in the United States”.
